HiFi Renderer privacy policy

Effective 2 October 2026 · Applies to HiFi Renderer for Android, published by aCelery Technology.

In short: HiFi Renderer does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. No account. No ads. No analytics. It requests no permission to your storage, contacts or location.

Information we collect

None. HiFi Renderer contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics or tracking libraries, and no crash reporters that send data to us. aCelery Technology has no servers that receive anything from the app.

Google Play may give developers aggregate, anonymous statistics such as install counts and crash rates, under Google's own privacy policy.

What stays on your device

Your settings — the renderer's network name, per-DAC volume, screen timeout, language and similar preferences — are stored only on the device running HiFi Renderer.

Your local network

HiFi Renderer works by announcing itself on your local network as a DLNA/UPnP and OpenHome renderer, so that controllers and media servers on the same network can find it and send it music. Audio streams come directly from your own media server, or from a guest's device, over your local network. None of this traffic passes through aCelery Technology.

Track information and artwork shown on screen come from the server or controller that sent the music, and are not stored or transmitted elsewhere.

Permissions

HiFi Renderer does not request access to your storage, contacts, location or camera.

Children

HiFi Renderer is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
