Privacy policy

aCelery privacy policy

Effective 2 October 2026 · Applies to aCelery for Android and iOS, published by aCelery Technology.

In short: aCelery does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. There are no ads, no accounts, no sign-in and no analytics. Your apps, files and databases stay on your device.

What aCelery stores, and where

Everything you create in aCelery — your app projects, their files, their SQLite databases and your settings — is stored in aCelery's private storage on your device. aCelery Technology has no servers that receive it and no copy of it. Uninstalling aCelery removes it, so export a project as a zip if you want to keep a backup.

Information we collect

None. aCelery contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics or tracking libraries, and no crash reporters that send data to us. It does not ask for an account or any personal details.

The app stores (Google Play and the Apple App Store) may give developers aggregate, anonymous statistics such as install counts and crash rates, under their own privacy policies. We do not combine these with anything else.

Device features and permissions

Sharing on your network

aCelery runs a small web server on your device to show its own screens. When you turn on Share on this network, other devices on the same local network can connect to it — but each new device must first be approved on your phone, and a notification shows for as long as sharing is on. Sharing is off by default, stays on your local network, and nothing passes through aCelery Technology.

AI assistants (MCP)

If you choose to connect an AI assistant (for example Claude) through aCelery's Model Context Protocol server, that assistant — running on your own computer — can read and change your aCelery projects and databases and run your apps. Access requires a key you create on the phone, and you can revoke it at any time. What the assistant then does with that information is governed by the assistant provider's own terms and privacy policy, not by aCelery.

Apps you write or import

The apps you build run inside aCelery and can do what you program them to do, including connecting to internet services you choose. Code you import from others runs the same way, and its full source is always visible in aCelery's editor. You are responsible for the apps you write or import and for any data they send elsewhere.

Children

aCelery is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
